At ekTherapy our team creates a space tailored to you, focusing on the development of mindful coping patterns and creating a plan of action for growth, change, and healing that will work for you.

We focus on traveling through life's challenges and traumas from a strengths-based approach with a focus on life transitions, how they impact you, and how you move through them. Our therapists use a range of therapeutic options including Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, EMDR, Harm Reduction, Hypnosis, Somatic, and ADEP. Stress reduction and mindfulness techniques run through our work.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR VISIT
Here's how we start, there's an initial phone consultation that can lead to an initial visit. First sessions are a chance for you and your therapist to meet, get to know each other, and see if it's rapport for you. get an idea of how to proceed.
Here's how we continue; future visits will be more therapeutic in nature. For example, in your second session, you may explore a specific symptom, problem, or past trauma you mentioned in the first session. As we continue to work, together we reshape our work.

Do you experience unwanted feelings of depression, loneliness, anxiety, or anger? Together we can develop skills to deal more effectively with your overwhelming feelings and create strategies or techniques for changing unwanted thoughts, behaviors, or emotions.

Our team makes it easy to get started with therapy whether you prefer to meet with your therapist online, in person, or a combination of both. Therapy where you are: virtual, in-office, or both.
Therapy at the Office
If therapy from an office is the right fit for you, we offer in-person sessions in our office. We’ve implemented rigorous safety measures that meet a high standard of care, making meeting in person as safe and comfortable as possible.
Therapy at a Distance
If therapy from a distance is the right fit for you, we offer video sessions where you can connect with a therapist from the convenience of your own space. We are committed to providing quality, secure, and confidential sessions.
If what you want is the ease of both in-person and at-home therapy, a hybrid option is the right fit for you.
