LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

ekTherapy respectfully acknowledges and honors all Indigenous communities in America for their enduring relationships with this land. We recognize that our offices are located on the original homeland of the Lenape people and acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory. We honor the generations of stewards who have cared for this land and pay our respects to the diverse Indigenous peoples who remain connected to it today.

We also offer our respect to the people of Seneca Village, a historic community of Black property owners who were forcibly removed and whose village was destroyed to create Central Park. We recognize their sacrifice and honor the legacy of Seneca Village.​
