Before We Meet: Your Phone Consultation
Your ekTherapy journey starts with a brief, no-pressure phone conversation. Think of this as a chance to get acquainted—you can ask questions about our approach, share what's on your mind, and get a feel for whether we might be a good match. There's no commitment here, just an opportunity to explore whether scheduling that first session feels right for you.

Session One: Getting to Know Each Other
Your first session is all about connection and exploration. This is your time to share what's brought you to therapy, while your therapist learns about your unique story, strengths, and goals. Together, you'll begin building the foundation of trust and rapport that makes meaningful therapeutic work possible.

By the end of this session, you'll have a clearer sense of how therapy might support you and whether this therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. Remember, finding the right therapist is crucial—and it's perfectly okay if you need to explore other options.
Building Momentum: Your Ongoing Sessions
As we move into your second session and beyond, the work becomes more focused and therapeutic. You might dive deeper into a specific concern that came up in your first meeting, explore a symptom that's been troubling you, or begin processing a past experience that's impacting your present.
